Our wine clubs are named in recognition of Jerold O’Brien’s career as a military pilot. Combine two masters of wine magic, the poet and the pilot, Tony Craig of Sonnet and Jerold O’Brien of Silver Mountain, and this wine club puts poetry into flight. Silver Mountain’s consulting winemaker, Tony Craig, is a Pinot artiste par excellence if we say so ourselves, and he makes Pinot under his own Sonnet label at Silver Mountain. Tony, a Shakespearean actor (wherefore the Sonnet), made Pinot Noir for that legend of the grape David Bruce for many years through the 1990’s and added his own name to the Pinot lexicon. Our new Pinot Wine Club gives you access to the fabulous Pinots from both Silver Mountain and Sonnet, from a variety of great Pinot growing regions: – the Santa Cruz Mountains – Russian River Valley – Santa Lucia Highlands – York Mountain. Our mascot is the WWI Flying Ace himself, who must lift a glass of Pinot after a hard day flying and zeroing in on the Red Baron.
